Cozy, quaint and comfortable describes this cottage and bunkie on quiet Moot Lake. With a 10 hp. restriction on the lake, you can look forward to a peaceful and relaxing summer vacation, perfect for a couple or small family.
The interior of the cottage has beautiful warm pine ceilings and walls with laminate wood floors, an abundance of windows, and comfortable cottage furnishings. There is a nice easy flow from room to room with ceiling fans in all the main living areas, lending to cool breezy summer days inside when the heat gets to be too much outside. The screened-in Muskoka room is a much sought after feature, especially when overlooking the lake, as you can still enjoy the great outdoors if the weather turns. The bunkie will be the place the younger ones will want to put dibs on as it allows privacy for late afternoon naps or long lazy sleep-ins and yet it is just a stone’s throw away from the main cottage.
You will feel a great sense of serenity and privacy being nestled on a well-treed lot at the end of the lake. The unshaded expansive lawn allows in the sunshine and is a great place for the kids to get back to nature, put down the hand devices and play ball or horseshoes! Explore the lake with the rowboat and be sure to bring along a fishing rod as the lake is known for its great fishing, especially bass!
Not that you will want to leave the lake, but put aside a day or two to visit the nearby village of Baysville for great ice cream and local craft stores or head into Bracebridge and the historical town of Huntsville for a longer day trip. For the more active enthusiasts, adventure out to Algonquin Provincial Park or play at one of the many great golf courses in the area.
However you spend your days you will always have your lake side home to return to for BBQ dinners and star-filled nights by the fire pit, reminiscing about the days fun filled moments!
