Welcome to this lovely and extremely private 5 bedroom cottage nestled in the woods and tucked into a quiet bay on beautiful Peninsula Lake. With all the comforts of home and so many cottage treats, everything is here to ensure a wonderful family vacation! Available year round, the cottage has a north eastern exposure, offering fabulous lake views anytime of the year plus great sun on the dock and various decks. From the moment you step inside the cottage foyer you feel the recently departed city pace slip away as you set down your bags and settle into its relaxing surroundings.
The open concept living/dining/kitchen area is bright and spacious with vaulted ceilings, warm wood floors, pine accents throughout, a wall of large windows and a walk-out to an expansive semi-wrap around deck – all with stunning views of the lake. To the side of the kitchen/dining room is a screened-in Muskoka room overlooking the lake, cottage country’s coveted bonus living space.
Well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and décor, there are 3 bedrooms, bathroom and laundry rounding out the main level and the carpeted lower level has 2 more bedrooms, a sitting room and a family entertainment room with a walk-out to a lower partially covered large deck over-looking the lake with a fabulous 8 person hot tub.
From here you can take a couple of different paths to the lake. The side yard has a large grassy area that is ideal for the young ones as well as the hard-packed sandy entrance to the water off of the dock and lakeside deck. The water frontage is 270 feet of bay and lake offering you excellent privacy and endless hours of fun in the sun. With so many water toys at your disposal, take to the lake and enjoy! The water is about 12 feet deep at the end of the dock, perfect for diving and swimming out to the swim raft and/or spending long lazy hours sunning.
After a long day of cottage activities and perhaps a day trip to close-by Huntsville or Algonquin Park, end your days with a family BBQ and marshmallow roast around the fire pit. Even in the off seasons, this is the place to be with so much to do and so many fall/winter/spring near-by venues and activities to indulge in. Life is so good in Muskoka cottage country!
