This cottage combines the best of both worlds. It is private and secluded yet located within minutes of everything Baysville, Huntsville and Bracebridge have to offer. Whether you are getting away from it all or need to stay in touch, both are possible at this Muskoka retreat.
Much love and time has been spent renovating the cottage. With beautiful wide plank flooring throughout and large expanses of windows facing the lake, the line between the exterior and interior becomes blurred. The main gathering space has a cathedral ceiling with a natural stone wall at one end. Cozy leather armchairs swivel to face either the lake, wood stove or even the 60” flat screen TV. Every amenity has been considered with the two separate living room areas (upper and lower level) for divergent tastes in music, movies or games. There is something for everyone in the “Madmen Meets Muskoka” décor, down to the martini shaker and glasses. A large open kitchen area allows foodies to plate their creations while remaining connected to other cottage activities. The south facing deck affords a full view of the lake and is great for lounging or dining al fresco. Need a spot for a large family gathering? The dining room features a 10 foot long dining table and all the required amenities for your special event.
Each queen bedroom on the main level is well appointed with a premium mattress for a restful sleep. A large lower level bedroom features 2 sets of bunk beds, one with a double bed base, and a sizeable powder room steps away to help alleviate line ups for the upper level bathroom. Children and families are a priority here. The cottage is equipped with safety gates, a highchair, Pack ‘N Play®, toys, movies, and games. There is no excuse for the phrase, “I am bored,” at this cottage.
The waterfront is a granite rock that slopes into the water. A cedar dock with a ladder allows for safe and easy water access. The cottage is equipped with 2 kayaks, a canoe and various other water toys. It is a quiet lake devoid of large motor boats. If it is speed that you crave, the local marina in Baysville will cater to your needs, granting you access to all of Lake of Bays. You can pilot either your own craft or rent one of their myriad of motorized watercraft.
There are 2 outdoor BBQ’s - the Weber for convenient propane cooking or the stone grill for charcoal enthusiasts. After dinner enjoy late night s’mores as you reminisce about the days great adventures! So what are you waiting for?!
"It was wonderful to meet you and enjoy your fantastic cottage. It felt like a home away from home and sooo relaxing. We asked the kids for their best moments and they had quite a list. Loved the air hockey. Kids played nana and poppy with much giggles and cheering. Water was amazing. Best part was the daddies trying to empty the lake with their big splashes. Your special attention to the little details in the cottage made us feel very welcome."
