This 3,600 square foot cottage and bunkie sits on an acre of well-treed land on the north west part of Lake Vernon at Vernon Shores and has access to miles of boating on the 4 Lake chain, including Peninsula, Fairy and Mary. It is a 15-minute boat ride to Huntsville or a 15-20 minute drive, and 25 minutes to Arrowhead Provincial Park, 35 minutes to Bracebridge (Santa’s Village), and less than an hour to Algonquin Park. It sits atop a gentle slope facing north overlooking the surrounding bay, which can be viewed from the Muskoka Room. Inside there’s a fireplace, and a games room downstairs with pool, foosball, an arcade game, darts, and ping pong. The cozy fully heated cedar bunkie with two sets of bunk beds and its own screened-in porch, makes you feel like you’re in a glamorous tree house in the middle of the forest. Some amenities include a barbeque, outdoor fire pit, indoor fireplace / woodstove, and a hot tub. Down on the lake there is a large dock with a boat launch, a canoe, two kayaks, and a stand up paddle board.

Four Seasons in Pickerel Bay
This four-season, pet-friendly, 2-level, 2,000 square foot cottage and lakeside bunkie in Pickerel Bay on Lake Joseph sits on an acre of Muskoka granite outcroppings with pine and rustic landscaping. It is 15 minutes from the villages of Rosseau and Minett, and 25 minutes from Port Carling. In the main room, two walls of large picture windows and glass doors frame tree-top lake views. There are also views from multiple decks, as the master bedroom has a walk-out deck with total privacy from the lower deck. The main floor has a bedroom suitable for those who dislike stairs. A lakeside bunkie provides extra sleeping with a single bunk and twin bed. Amenities include a fireplace, propane barbeque, outdoor fire pit. Down by the water is a boathouse with a dock and swim raft with swim ladder, a large lakeside wooden swing, two kayaks, canoe, and there’s a public boat launch/ramp across the bay from cottage at 324 Stanley House Road. The beach has shallow water with a sand and granite bottom, and you can swim out to deeper water where the raft is anchored. There are no cottages directly across, and privacy from neighbours is further heightened by many trees on the property itself.
When the lake freezes over, you can snowshoe or go cross country skiing or snowmobiling right outside your door. Arrowhead is just a 45-minute ride away for great cross-country skiing, skating, hiking, snowshoeing and snow-tubing. Georgian Nordic is just a 50-minute drive away and offers more than 30 kms of scenic cross-country ski trails winding through lush forest.

This 4,800 square foot, pet friendly cottage on Gibson Lake is a 10 to 15 minute drive to Port Severn and a 15 to 20 minute drive to Coldwater.
