SHORELINE:
Beautiful stone walkway to riverside patio however Rocky Saugeen River is NOT ideal for swimming. Large outdoor hot tub on deck over looking river is a good alternative. A 15 minute drive to the Durham Conservation Area has fabulous Rapids at McGowen Falls as well as a large dam area with good swimming.
CHILD SAFETY ISSUES:
Steep decline to the river. Children and those with limited mobility should be careful. Children should not be left unattended at the water.
PRIVACY RATING:
Five Stars out our Five. Cottage is located in private setting.
DOCKING FACILITIES:
Canoe and kayak launch is available at the riverside. Owners have an aluminum boat for guests use. Stone landing dock at Cottage.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS:
Cottage is not designed for wheel chair access. Main floor is one step to enter and main floor bathroom will accommodate small wheelchair. The grounds are reasonably accessible.
LIMITATIONS:
•Individuals 16 years of age or older count as adults.
•Pets not permitted.
•Renters are responsible to do a full clean of the cottage (cleaning supplies provided) and remove all garbage/recycling at the end of the rental period. If this is not done cleaning/garbage disposal fees will be charged.
