This cozy 800 sq. ft. cottage is located on quiet Fox Lake. Having been in the family for generations, many a fond childhood memory resides within its walls. The open concept kitchen/dining/living area is bright and comfortable and faces out to the lake, with the two bedrooms just off of this area, one facing the lake while the other is tucked into the back.
The well-treed lot provides welcomed shade on the deck on hot summer days and the screened-in Muskoka room is always a bonus spot to retreat to with inclement weather as you can still feel one with nature while relaxing inside.
Head down to the waterfront via a short set of stairs that open up to a fantastic 125 ft. hard sand-packed beach. The beach slopes gently into the lake making it ideal for the younger kids to safely splash and play while the adults relax and lounge on the Muskoka chairs.
If you can tear yourself away from the beach, enjoy a beautiful canoe ride up the river or take a picnic lunch to the nearby island where the older kids can jump off the rocks.
As the sun slowly sets, sit back and wonder at the bevy of stars seldom seen this way in the city…what are you waiting for!?
