Welcome to this lovely 1,200 sq. ft., 3 bedroom cottage on popular Lake of Bays in the heart of Muskoka, the perfect small family vacation getaway!
The owners patiently searched for just the right cottage for them and finally after 3 years they found their dream come true. The cottage truly sits at the water’s edge with 115 feet of fantastic granite shelf shoreline, a large dock with a boat slip and a deck that runs the full length of the cottage. Add to that a lakeside gazebo and firepit and what more could you possibly want for?!
They wanted the interior to compliment and embrace the amazing fresh feeling of being so close to the water, so they painted the 3 bedrooms and the main open concept kitchen/dining/living space with white paint and added sheer full length white curtains to the wall of lake facing floor to ceiling pine framed picture windows to enhance the breathe-taking wide open views of the lake. When the sunshine floods into the main living area and the curtains flutter as the breeze comes off the lake, perfection!
The bedrooms are tucked into the back, making for a cool and comfortable nights sleep after a long day of fun in the sun.
Start mornings off on the deck enjoying your coffee or tea as the mist rises off the water and take in the million dollar views of the expansive lake. While the lake usually remains calm in the early morning, be sure to take the kayaks out for a paddle and soak up the tranquility before the day unfolds.
Lake of Bays is one of the deeper of the Muskoka lakes and a habitat to many types of fish such as Bass, Rock Bass, White Fish and Lake Trout- which can be found in abundance! You can even try your luck right off the end of the dock.
