There is a public boat launch conveiently located just a minute away. For avid fishermen, the end of the lake has been declared a fish habitat by MNR and small-mouth bass, large-mouth bass, perch and sunfish are popular catches. 

The property is just five minutes away from the heart of the charming village of Port Sydney, with easy access to all that it has to offer: public sand beach with shallow water entry, boat launch, tennis, golf, restaurants, and a general store to get ice cream on a hot, sunny day. The town of Huntsville and all its amenities is a quick 15 minute drive, where you'll find an abundance of shopping, dining and entertainment.  Arrowhead Provincial Park is nearby with summer and winter hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
