Welcome to this rare private small cottage treasure in the heart of Muskoka, perched on a cliff on quiet Nine Mile Lake. Built with much love by the owners for their parents, this is the perfect escape destination for a couple or small family.

Many a happy memory has transpired within these walls and you can feel the warmth the moment you step in. The two bedrooms face the wooded side lending to a peaceful night’s sleep while the open concept kitchen/dining/living area enjoys the whole lakeside vista. With cathedral ceilings, floor to ceiling wrap-around windows and a ceiling window skylight, even the dullest of days takes on a light of its own. Needless to say the views of the lake from this inviting room are spectacular!

A semi-wrap around deck to one side of the cottage steps down to a spacious patio deck. As the mother aged and the trip down the rugged path to the lake became less appealing, the owners trimmed away branches so that the lake views could be enjoyed from this lovely tree-top deck.

Down at the dock the privacy pervades, with 150 ft. of waterfront situated in a small bay at the end of the lake with very few cottages in site! The water at the end of the dock is deep, clean and clear, perfect for swimming and with a western exposure, sunsets from here are absolutely breathe-taking. 

If the privacy gets to be too much (hard to imagine), you are a short drive away from some of Muskoka’s fabulous golf courses and many a quaint and interesting town/village such as Port Carling, Bala and Gravenhurst!

Stay was beautiful, we had a great time.  Place was really clean.  We would rent again.  Thank you for letting us enjoy the cottage.... A big heartfelt thank you for letting us be guests at your lovely cottage.  We has a wonderful and relaxing week surrounded by such natural beauty here on Nine Mile Lake. The cottage was very comfortable, the view spectacular and the water refreshing!!...  Our third summer here and we had a lovely time as alwarys!!!... Huge thanks for making this possible. We spent a glorious week at your cottage! Quiet, peaceful, beautiful views. Wonder swims. Also very gratefule for the cleanliness!...  We enjoyed our family time together at our cottage.  Very clean and the location is perfect....
